Speech Team
The OLF 7th and 8th grade Speech Teams meet twice a week beginning in the fall.
Students memorize poems, dramatic/humorous readings, or speeches. The 8th graders can also write their own speeches or compete in Impromptu.
The 7th grade team also participates in a "Reader's Theater" choral presentation. There are two Archdiocesan meets each year that we attend.
Each team attends the Open Meet and a Trophy Meet- the 8th Grade first semester, and 7th Grade during second semester.
